What are the typical dog/cat breeds found on a farm? If I can guess, the working and pastoral groups for dogs are found on a farm? Any others ^^ I'm so new when it comes to farm life.

Pastoral, some working, and terrier breeds are very common on farms. Farms need dogs that can herd their sheep / cattle, dogs that can protect their livestock from predators, and Terriers help keep rats and mice from eating their feed.
Most common breeds off the top of my head would be:
Pastoral (Herding) - * Border Collies * Australian Shepherds * Australian Cattle Dogs * Kelpies * German Shepherds * Rough & Smooth Collies * Shetland Sheepdogs
Working (Guarding) - * Great Pyrenees * Anatolian Shepherd Dog * Karst Shepherd Dog * Kuvasz * Aidi * Central Asian Ovtcharka (Can herd & Guard) * Caucasian Ovtcharka
Terriers- * Jack Russel Terriers * Scottish Terriers * Dachshunds * Parson Russel Terriers * Manchester Terriers * Norfolk & Norwich Terriers * Rat Terrier * Smooth Fox Terrier
There are more in each category, those are just off the top of my head. Easiest thing to do is go to the PKC website and look through the Pastoral, Working, and Terrier breeds then read their descriptions. It usually says what they were commonly used for.
Hope this helps! Sorry it took so long to respond!

That is so inspiring for naturally raising ideas :'D thanks! That was a cute explanation! I assume catz are good for hunting mice?

You're welcome! Happy you liked it Yes, catz are very common and are normally called 'Barn Cats' because that's usually where they stay and also help keep the mice and rats away. Tabbies and Calico type cats with short hair are very common. Most are very mixed breeds. Long haired cats don't do well because they are never groomed and most Barn cats are feral.
